Marketing Veteran, T. Ron Davis, appointed Chief Marketing Officer
November, 2007 – Vu1 Corporation (formerly Telegen Corporation), a technology and manufacturing company setting a new global standard for safe, sustainable, energy-efficient lighting today announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of T. Ron Davis as Chief Marketing Officer.
Davis brings extensive experience from top technology companies including Microsoft, American Express and DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) over the course of 24 years in Europe, Asia and the United States. Throughout his career, Davis has demonstrated success in building global brands and positive market presence through strong creative and business skills.

His role is pivotal in helping us accelerate adoption of our next generation energy-efficient lighting."
As Chief Marketing Officer, Davis is responsible for strategic direction of all global Vu1 marketing efforts including segmentation, branding, product ID, advertising, customer experience, as well as internal and external communications.
Davis was the Director of F500 Marketing at Microsoft where he established the Corporate Account Marketing group. He was responsible for developing the now industry standard Multi-License Pak, designing and developing the Microsoft Support Coordinator's Program, as well as strategic seeding programs, corporate road shows, strategy briefing tours, and corporate technical workshops.
Ron transformed the US Sales Training department into the Worldwide Sales Training Group and played a principal role in growing F500 revenue from $25M to $1B.
Davis spent nine years with DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) in marketing, sales, and management roles. Ron started his career as a technologist in international systems and telecommunications at American Express.
