Chief Executive Officer & Board Member
Mr. Sellers was a test Systems Engineer for Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin). He was the CEO of ARC Group International, Inc., a company specializing in international logistics. He was a founding manager of Quadtek, Inc., which pioneered innovative high temperature video systems in industrial environments. Rick has been an investor and advisory board member for several privately held emerging growth companies in various market segments, bringing his engineering, marketing and operations experience to build positive cash flow and shareholder equity.
Richard N. Herring
Chief Technology Officer & Board Member
Mr. Herring served as the CEO of Spectral Solutions, Inc., a company focused on cellular telephone enhancement products. Mr. Herring served as the COO of ISCO International Mr. Herring also served as the CEO of Digital Globe, a company focused on satellite imaging technology. Prior to this, Mr. Herring also spent more than 25 years in management at Ball Aerospace, including serving as the President of the company’s Space Systems Division and COO of five other divisions.
Matthew DeVries
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. DeVries was a senior financial executive for publicly traded Active Voice Corporation until its acquisition by Cisco Systems, Inc. Mr. DeVries has been a consulting Chief Financial Officer to publicly traded companies on the AMEX, NASDAQ and OTC exchanges. He provides financial guidance to public and privately held corporations with fundraising, acquisition assistance and SEC related matters. Mr DeVries has held multiple senior financial executive positions with public and private companies during his career.
T. Ron Davis
Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Davis was the Director of F500 Marketing at Microsoft. Mr. Davis spent 9 years with DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) in marketing, sales, and management roles. Ron started his career as a technologist in international systems and telecommunications at American Express. At Microsoft, Ron established the Corporate Account Marketing group, was responsible for developing the now industry standard Multi-License Pak, the design and development of the Microsoft Support Coordinator's Program, strategic seeding programs, Corporate Roadshows, Strategy Briefing Tours, Corporate Technical Workshops, transformed the US Sales Training department into the Worldwide Sales Training Group and played a principal role in growing F500 revenue from $25M to $1B. Ron was the founder of three privately held companies. As President of the Intellect Marketing Group, he provided marketing consulting services to emerging growth software, digital media and technology companies, as well as F500 companies.
Dr. Charles Hunt
Senior Scientist & Board Member
Since 1986, Dr. Charles Hunt has been at the University of California, Davis, where he is presently Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with appointments in Materials Science and Engineering and in the California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC). His research centers on electronic and luminescent materials, IC fabrication technology, electron devices, semiconductor device physics and fabrication technologies for nanostructures. Professor Hunt is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and holds twelve patents. From 1997-2004 he served as Editor of the journal, Solid-State Electronics. Dr. Hunt holds a B.S.E.E. and M.S.E.E. from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
Robert V. White
Vice President, Engineering
Mr. White is a widely recognized expert in power systems architecture and digital power. In almost 30 years of professional experience Mr. White has held positions with Emerson Network Power/Artesyn Technologies/Zytec Corporation, AT&T Bell Labs/Power Systems, the Digital Equipment Corporation, and General Electric. His experience includes system engineering, design of all kinds of power supplies and dc-dc converters, designing for high volume, and technology development. Mr. White is experienced working with design groups, customers, suppliers, and manufacturing all over the world. He has successfully started up engineering groups at Bell Labs and Zytec.
In recognition of Mr. White's contributions to the profession, such as serving as the Technical Vice President of the IEEE's Power Electronics Society, he was awarded the IEEE Third Millennium Medal in 2000 and the IEEE Power Electronic Society’s Distinguished Service Award in 2002.
Mr. White has a BSEE from MIT (1980) and a MSEE from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (1991).
Christine J. Soverel
Vice President, Business Planning & Analysis
Ms. Soverel was a Finance and Planning Director at Starbucks Coffee Company. She helped grow the company from sales of $465M in 1995 to more than $6BN by 2005, including lead finance responsibility for managing over $600M in capital and expense. Prior to Starbucks, Chris served as CFO of Billy McHales Corp, a multi-unit full service restaurant chain. She started her career as a credit analyst in commercial banking. Ms. Soverel is founder and President/CEO of Eagle Financial, LLC providing professional finance and planning solutions to businesses.
Doug Bryers
Director of Marketing
Doug Bryers is responsible for marketing research, product marketing and go-to-market planning. Since 1994 Doug has held multiple Senior Product Marketing and Product Management positions in emerging technology companies. These include two companies successfully acquired by Sony Entertainment and Intel Corporation. He specializes in building and launching version 1.0 and 2.0 products. As President of VenturePod since 2002, Doug provides professional marketing services to a mixed media (web and television), emerging web-based and ecotourism companies, as well as F500 companies.

Philip G. Styles
VP Manufacturing and General Director for Sendio s.r.o.
(Sendio s.r.o. is a division of Vu1 in the Czech Republic).
Mr. Styles worked for Sony Corporation for 14 years in various technical and managerial positions in production engineering. Phil held several senior management positions in manufacturing, including a recent joint venture manufacturing operation between LG Electronics and Royal Philips Electronics.
Martin Šebesta
Technical Manager for Sendio s.r.o.
Prior to this post Mr. Šebesta worked for seven years in the manufacturing sector of Philips including equipment design / engineering and senior management manufacturing positions. Mr Šebesta supported the set up of a new factory for Philips Electronics in the Czech Republic of over 300 Million Euro. He also worked for four years for the Telecommunication sector in various mid-management technical positions.
Romana Švarcova Business Development Manager for Sendio s.r.o.
Mrs Švarcova has worked extensively in the Marketing, Sales and Logistics sector. She developed a standalone European sales and distribution network for the Czech entity creating an average yearly turnover of 130M Euro. She has also worked as the Sales & Marketing Manager in a Czech/Russian company producing consumer products for European markets.
